Hello

So I has an IR-2 visa which was to expire on April 4th 2020 and I had planned to travel on March 18 2020. But due to covid, my country announced lockdown on March 15 and I could not travel.

The case is not opening in CEAC and the customer service is not responding. Should I make a new case? File a new petition and start over from the beginning? Or is there any other way? Can I "renew" the visa? If so, where should I start?

If it has expired, you want reissuance which will need new fees, medical and supporting documents. If Mumbai has reopened for visas, get in touch with them.

I did contact them and they asked me to come after updating supporting documents.

I contacted CMM Hyderabad to schedule a medical appointment as the medical documents have expired. But they are asking for me to create a new case and come. So can I use my previous appointment letter to go for the medical? They are not allowing.
