Hey juliekins,

I'm in the same position you are. Check cashed / case opened Feb. 14 @ CSC. Wondering why on Earth it's April and they're still processing prior to year-end.

Keep in mind that page may not be updated as often or as accurately as we would hope for that particular type of Visa. The fact that the CSC is trending downwards is a Good Thing. Let's hope it continues!

Good luck w/your application.

thanks rob..

Atleast I know I am not the only one who is confused...

however.. is there any particular reason why California is so slow at processing then everybody else? so do you think its going to take 2 months before they ever get to our applications?

it feels like it is taking forever..

I dont know why the CSC is taking so long since they are the biggest and have more staff than any other of the service centers. They are probably taking longer to verify the USC information since there are a lot of illegal activities in west with visas.

Meh, when we applied last January, we didn't get approved until April from Vermont. It's kind of a toss up

My k1 fiancee visa was submitted in Nebraska on February 21, 2006, received the first notice just shortly after that. Since then I was notified by my U.S. Army National Guard unit that a group of us are going to Iraq in July 2006. Needless to say I'm trying my very best to get an emergency expedite of my k1 visa, wish me luck.

Well, apparently, it's not just California. Everyone else except Vermont and Nebraska are processing the forms from Dec. 31, 2005... It's ridiculous. I really hope it's because they haven't updated recently. And I hope they update soon. :(
