Medical office put wrong date on when a vaccine was given and refused to correct it.

Does the date change your eligibility? Like does it make you more than 10 years since your Td booster? If not, and the results say “complete” then it’s not a problem and your immunisations won’t ever be brought up again. Did the embassy deny you over a shot?  Explain more. What shot, who gave it, when?

Yes it was denied because the date was before the vaccine was available in the uk plus also when my husband was less then a year old. When he got home from interview he had a message from doctors office saying now he never had the vaccine and had set up appt Monday to get the vaccine. This has caused more delays and stress. The vaccine is mmr.

Oh, I thought the visa clinic copied it wrong to the medical report.

i would suggest—

  1. Call Visa Medicals and tell them they failed to notice the ineligible MMR date and you would like for them to provide a corrected medical to the US embassy after you get a shot. Speak to the practice nurse and be firm that you need a solution. 0207 486 7822 Ask for their fax number.
  2. Get a MMR jab from your GP and have it faxed to Visa Medicals
  3. OR get one from Boots or a clinic like those in Tesco, etc. and you email the record to Visa Medicals. usinfo@visamedicals.co.uk

You can get titers for antibodies to confirm you are protected . These are for those who cannot find their vaccine records. If the titer is low to null it is good to have it again.

Problem Resolved. Medical exam phoned the GP office after they had ignored the email from medical exam asking them 11 days prior to interview to correct it. We are now awaiting travel documents and passport.
