One of the biggest election turnouts in years is expected, how will it go down? All votes Anonymous.

Honestly with everything I am reading I think it will come down to the SC tbh with you. There are to many issues with mail in ballots that the Democrats have been promoting that can cause election chaos. All you have to do is look at what has happened in PA the last week.

PA, NJ, NY... mail-in votes on the state level have been a mess.  I can't believe states will actually allow this mess to move to the national level.

I am not sure why anyone would vote mail in or absentee unless absolutely necessary.  The fact that states regularly reject hundreds of thousands of mail in ballots every election seems troubling to me.

I have been voting by mail for 8 years. I never miss an election, even levies, primaries or general. I had one ballot rejected in 8 years due to my signature and it was painless to remedy. I always have the time to research the issue while I go through my ballot. I can track the entire lifecycle of my ballot from leaving elections through receipt and processing.

Voting by mail is the only civilized way to vote.

So how do you explain all the rejected mail-in ballots, and do you expect all states will be able to do the same process as Washington State which has been doing this for many years and has had the ability to work through the bugs?

Whether you can work through all the bugs on a crunch timeline is another question, but all states have a absentee ballot capacity. Absentee/Mail In. Potato/pahtatoe to me.

Think about the "rejected" ballots as no different than a provisional ballot when the voter roles are out of date, there is a legal process to fix it, but from the comfort of your home.

Why should a working mom with daycare and transportation concerns not be given the same access as a retired person voting absentee?

As a country, we should embrace more people making informed voting decisions. The argument for mail in ballots is clear.

Big difference between absentee ballots which I am completely fine with even the version that does not require a reason and the mail-in ballots the Democrats are advocating for.  Except for states like yours that do mail only, a voter has to request the absentee ballot themselves and there are many means to do that. In MI, the Democrats are trying to make the signature verification illegal which makes no sense, but hey, if they can get more questionable ballots in play they can stuff the box so-to-speak.  I am also not in favor of ballot harvesting which is another item the Dems (al la Marc Elias) are fighting for in MI as well as other states.   The voters do have to take some responsibility here, and should not just be able to hand their signed ballot to a political operative from either party for transfer (or not) to a polling place or clerk's office.

I have voted in the past by absentee only because I was living in CA or Afghanistan at the time. Once I moved back I told myself that I would never do that again. What's funny is one of the far leftist people that hate Trump and I actually agreed on one solitary thing which was "We will be voting in person no matter what". She flat out said "If I can go to the grocery store then I can go vote in person".

Sounds like some prominent Democrats are now promoting in person voting.

Then you have a failure in understanding how different they really are.  Enjoy that head-in-the-sand mentality if that is how you opt to view the subject, but you are incorrect.  You must not understand the difference between the established system in your state vs. what is about to happen in many states very soon.

A friend in CT has already received no less than FIVE ballots for a household of TWO.  No problem, eh?

Every citizen in this country is entitled to vote in every election. They should not be hassled because they choose to vote from home.

If election officials and politicians cannot deliver on the availability of a secure mail-in ballot system, they should step aside and ask Montana, Utah, Washington and Oregon how they get it done.

You seem to have anecdotal friends all over the country.
