I was also nervous at first because I was under the impression that I had to re-enter all that info. but it seems like we only have to verify the info that's there, make changes if necessary, and then send it.

 

Did you have to send in any new documents (e.g. Ghana police report, financial information from US sponsor, etc)?

He has to get a new police report (Getting in next week) because the one he got for the first interview is expired. I submitted new financial info in like March/April of 2020 so I don't need to resubmit that. I will say that for the medical appointment- I suggest telling your partners to go to Holy Trinity vs Akai House b/c since Akai house is in Osu, its about $100 more expensive than Holy Trinity (In Kaneshie area)

I was so upset to read that yesterday. It ruined my whole day, as hard as I tried to remain positive. I just wish I had ANY idea of when we MIGHT get an interview so I can plan my future with my spouse. I wonder sometimes if I should give up and move back to Ghana and try again in a few years.

I too was super devastated hearing this news yesterday. Again we were so close to getting a interview date rescheduled from last year.

Like you said how does one even began to start their lives/family when they have kept us apart for 6 years now!

Hello everyone, recently U.S embassy Ghana postponed some visa interviews. Did this affect scheduled spouse visa interviews? Are they still scheduling spouse visa interviews?

Just checked case status and says REFUSED what does this mean, is this good or bad?!

Tried looking into other feeds but couldn’t find a good definite answer.

Where are you along the process? Have you been scheduled or interviewed yet? I have read in threads that REFUSED in now being used instead of ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING and cases later go back to READY. But these have all been related to those close to an interview or just after an interview.  Here are a couple of threads:

Someone in a FB group that I'm in said that all cases in administrative processing say REFUSED.

It's SO unfortunate. This entire experience for me has been nothing been tacky and trashy, to say the least!
