Exactly

I just don't see anyone getting approved for medical expiration anymore

I remember on the US Embassy Website a few months ago they even listed "Expiring Medical" as a reason for expedition, now of days I think that has been removed by the USEM on the website.

Apply for a U.S. Visa | Request an Expedited Appointment - Philippines (English) (ustraveldocs.com)

Yes! I saw that too!

Other countries are providing interview schedules, albeit at a slower pace, but they are, even for non-expedite cases. Nothing we can do but hope and pray.

If I was in ya'll shoes I would be doing alot of cussing as well, so frustrating dealing with the USEM

I wonder if the USEM is closed more due to Duterte policies of locking down Philippines,  I see other countries as you said are back to doing K1's interviews on a routine basis.

My guess the USEM being closed to routine interviews is a direct correlation of Duterte locking down the Philippines.

“If I was in ya'll shoes I would be doing alot of cussing as well, so frustrating dealing with the USEM” lmao this validated my feelings, thank you, appreciate it a lot.

But then again, I’m still early on in the process. Currently waiting for NOA1. I’d expect everyone who filed before us are more frustrated. Wish they could get their IVs, the sooner they get theirs, the better as the backlogs will be reduced.

I’ve come to terms that this process will entail a LOT of waiting, and dealing with Ph politics... the phrase “patience is a virtue” is an understatement 😹 expectations managed lol

They can get thru the backlog in quick manner if they want.

Back when I did my K1 guys from California service center were getting approved in like 7 days, I was in Texas Service Center and took me about 24 days for NOA2.

The US Embassy has plenty of room and interview booth and windows to process a ton of K1 per day if they wanted to increase their staff.  They can get thru the backlog rather quickly if they really wanted to

We will just have to sit and wait and see how everything plays out, and for sure politics is involved in this game and has a impact of the US Embassy being open for routine processing.  Duterte is keeping the Philippines on severe lockdown, and until he eases up I don't see US Embassy getting back to normal processing for another year.

Wish it could go back to this, or atleast somewhat close 🤞🏻 🙏🏻
