I am an applicant and while filling the I-130 my husband the petitioner filled my then present employer details as I was employed back then ,now we are at NVC stage and in DS-260 form question of present work details what should I fill as I have already resigned from job and currently not employed ,if I select not employed it asks for explanation,what is the correct way to answer this question ,any help is welcome ,Thanks in advance !

Simply state that you resigned from your previous job at <company name> on <date>.  This is not unusual as you are preparing to migrate.
