Guys!! Small thing! I had my CR1 interview recently at the US embassy CMB and was given a 221g for additional documents of 2B9565E3-9379-4F55-B116-6961E3347819.thumb.jpeg.b176c586264214a3046a95dc21344ea9.jpegrelationship evidences. So what I did was, I just sent them all the pictures that we did not submit with the i 130. Was that right? Does anyone know whether USCIS sends them the whole petition to the US. Embassies?

the entire application and documents goes from USCIS to NVC and then to embassy

now , they want your originals for the affidavit plus evidence of the relationship

If the entire application goes to the embassy I shouldn’t be giving them the ones I submitted with the i 130 right?

The embassy has everything you have submitted thus far; from USCIS & NVC. The letter is asking for the I864 along with the tax returns and W2's. They also want evidence of your relationship. This is more than just photos; I am interpreting what you wrote as you only submitted photos as evidence. Hopefully the photos were labeled with the people in them, date and place. Be sure to submit other evidence of your relationship as well such as passport stamps that show face to face time, hotel/flight iterinerys, if you are the beneficiary on your spouses insurance/retirement accounts, living wills, etc.

Well our case is very different. My wife has been living here all her life as she’s a dual citizen. We lived together for exactly 1 year after getting married. Due to the domicile requirement she had to go back. And I also submitted all the cards/letters she sent me and chat logs and call logs as well. When filing the i 130 petition we sent a lot of pictures and labeled them as to who they were. Since they have a record of it, I did not label them again when submitting this time. Will that be a problem?

Since you already lived together for a year, don't you have evidence of shared residence and financials?  Like joint bank accounts and IDs/bills showing you lived at the same address.

We submitted our joint bank account details to the i 130. And got an affidavit from a lawyer and parents that we both live at their place together. But since we lived with our parents (south asian culture) we did not have any bills to our names. We informed that as well in the i 130.

This should strengthen your case. What can you show in your 1 year of living together? Joint lease/car insurance/car/bills/insurance/bank accounts/trips together etc. I would have labeled the photos you sent and don't assume anything; because now you are relying on them "matching" them up with the original photos to piece together dates, places, etc. The evidence you can show of your time spent living together would be strongest, in my opinion.

Oh we did not need cars to our names as I use one of our family’s cars. We have free healthcare so we did not need insurance. And I sent a lot of pictures of our trips around the island and family pictures together. Well I relabeled the people in the wedding pictures this time though. It’s the trips pictures and other randoms I couldn’t relabel. Do you think that’ll enough?

You need to take the I-864 to the interview along with the tax transcripts or paper copy of the tax return and all attachments for both the petitioner and sponsor.  None of that would have been submitted with the I-130/I-130A.

Wrong place to submit it.   If you submitted the I-864 with the NVC then that would have been the place.  Also unless you have enough assets to self support any income from Sri Lanka isn't going to matter.

Normally the worst evidence  to submit.   Maybe ok in your case but you still need better proof of a bona fide marriage.  You can still do wills and medical power of attorney, etc.  If she was back in the US she could have done this and added you to a credit card or something

Probably not - It does not sound like this was well thought out.  My wife and I lived together for only a few months outside the US before doing the I-864 and were able to have inches of bonafides.

Picture alone, I can place you in any picture, anywhere anytime. This is why picture mean very little.

Hello! So the Embassy sent me the email below attached. It looks like they have gone through all of the relationship evidences and previously submitted financial documents. But they are asking for a new joint sponsor now. Does this mean that everything else is alright but just a new joint sponsor to get the visa granted? As far as I know they first look at the relationship and then the financial documents. Am I right?

Hi my case was just been approved yesterday. Thanks a lot. But did not need a hell lot more evidence for the consular officer to be convinced.
