Email notification of replies

When you send a reply, the email notification box is already checked. Sometimes (ok, A LOT of times) I forget to uncheck it and my email box is bombarded with notifications! Can this option be changed to unchecked (on fast reply also) and if the poster would like a notification, they can check the box themselves? Just an idea, Thanks, Veronica

you can always uncheck it under "my controls" and you stop getting email notifications.

But then I still have to remember to uncheck it before every post.....or I start all over again... Am I the only one that has a problem with this?

Like Charles said you have the option in My Controls to turn off email notifications... I never have to uncheck anything when sending a PM and I never get the email notifications...
