Hello! My interview was recently schedule and I read somewhere that I should bring a copy of everything when I applied for AOS. Should I take a copy of everything or only the documents asked plus the proof of bonafide relationship?

Thank you :).

Hey have you received your interview notice?

I would suggest to bring everything you have. It's better to bring 3 pounds extra than to be 1 page short.

I kept an exact copy of every package we sent throughout the "journey", every notice they ever sent and I also kept all our original documents in that same file (marriage certificate etc, divorce decree, passports etc.) plus a copy of those. During the ROC interview it saved us. Out of the blue the officer stated there was no copy of the divorce decree in my file and that they really needed it to proceed. Took me 10 seconds to produce a copy and on we went.

It has the added bonus of being a great fire starter after you finally get citizenship, though I suggest you move the originals by that time 😎
