Hi everyone my interview was done from philippines and case is iR1 

after interview consul didnt ask for any other docs but right after he provided a 221g stating i need to fill out ds5535 , 

i went was born in dubai and went to malaysia for tourist only , anyone here who got their visa already?

How long in Malaysia visit? Is your embassy in Phil or Dubai?

It matters little who the CO is.  While it is unusual for the US embassy in Manila to issue the request for DS-5535, it does happen.  I suspect it has more to do with the fact that the OP was born in Dubai, but no one here really knows for sure why some applicants get the form and others with similar background do not.

2 weeks only ang phil is the interview
