Hi,

I'm applying for the pcc for wife in India, we are required to do it on this website http://www.passportindia.gov.in/, the application asks for purpose of PCC and i'm confused as to which option fits us. I will list the options below.

Purpose for PCC is required: 1.Citizenship Nationality application 2. Education/Research 3.employment visa/ work permit 4.immigration purposes other than work permit 5 Long term visa/stay 6. Residence permit 7. Tourist visa 8. Others.

Both #4 and #5 and #6 fit the whole Spouse Visa (green card) so i'm kind of lost as to which to choose

Hi,

Is this for the Immigration Visa (IV) application and submittal at the NVC stage?

Also, please just make one post.  I noticed you also posted the same exact question at the NVC forum.

Cool, no problem.  So, I guess your wife needs the PCC for Immigration purposes?

Sorry, I am being facetious.  I believe your wife needs it for reason #4.

I'm sorry small mistake in original post, option 4 should saw "Immigration purposes other than Citizenship" which is what i wanted to choose but it just sounds weird
