Best Flight for Ho Chi Minh City to Seattle, WA With most Guarantee flight

Hi everyone, what is the best flight right now to fly from Ho Chi Minh City Saigon to Seattle, WA?  Price is not an issue.  Just want the quickest and most hassle free travel during this Covid19.  My Wife got her Visa this September and planning to Travel to Seattle, WA in late November or Early December, would not want any later than that because her Visa will expired in a couple months after that.

I have try to Book with EVA Air in early December and they already Cancel my flight and I have to rebook for Late November, and don't know if they Cancel again because they say flight are Cancel if not enough people book.  I book EVA because right now it's the easiest so far just one stop in Taipei and transit in 3 hours to another Flight to Seattle.

Was thinking Korea Air or Japan Airline, but they have too many stop and may have a more harsh requirement check when landing and transisting.

Japan Airline has one stop in Tokyo and then Seattle, Also United has some flights co-shared with ANA. I have flown JAL many times and never had issues, but that was pre-covid.

I will share a website with you to search for flights, you cannot book a flight on it, but each time you search the price does not go up either.

It's https://matrix.itasoftware.com

Its the best site I have ever used to find flights as it searches all airlines and can pick and choose your days and layovers.

I usually do a calendar search

PM if you wish and I will tell you a website that has always matched the prices listed on there.

Good Luck

I heard Japan Airline is pretty good.  But when I went to their website, I cannot input Ho Chi Minh as the starting destination.  But when I went to Expedia, they do appear.  What about Korea Airline?  I heard they are pretty good too and do fly even if there is less people and not tend to Cancel.  They stop in Seoul, just the layaway is a bit long like 9 hours.

Korean Air does offer a flight but it has a 9 hour layover in Inchon is all, I have never flown on them but have always heard good things about the airline.

Per the US Embassy website, Japan Airlines, Korean Airlines, ANA airlines are still operating flights to USA

Good Luck

you do realize that the next lockdown will begin sometime in October.... the UK is about to go into the 2nd lockdown... once that happens, other countries will follow..

my fiance and i left in july. we literally left together exactly 24 hours after receiving the visa. as soon as she got the visa in the afternoon, i book the  flight for the next day. that is how DIRE the situation is.

i would tell your wife to leave NOW, before September ends. once the next lockdown begins, you will be lucky to book a flight for 2022. the 2nd wave is already happening.

again, LEAVE NOW

you can book through kayak, my fiance and i flew with Eva airwaves.  the fastest flight is like 16 hours - 24 hours for like $600-800

i like the flight from SGN to Taipei and then to Seattle. it's the quickest one.

Please book now and dont regret. Money is easy to find in the US while the opportunity is not.

I agree with Travis and im stuck here waiting at NVC to process my paper work...

Im probably the most experience recent traveler. I have traveled to vietnam  5 times in 2 years  AND I HAVE TAKEN ALLL AIRLINES ( BOTH CHINA AIR, EVA, ANA, DELTA/KOREA combo , C.PACIFIC)   and korean / delta airline is the best and the fastest.

Bring her here asap and dont waste time. A few hundred buck is nothing.

Starkness, were you able to find a flight? Just wondering which airline you ended up having success with.

Thanks!

Vietnam Airlines has been flying monthly routes from SGN - IAD and HAN - SFO but these flights are extremely difficult to book. Forget trying to book these online, and instead have your wife attempt to book through a travel agent in Vietnam. Actually, this piece of advice applies for all flights from Vietnam to the US and vice-a-versa.
