Nice work! I really like the charts.  They sent out interview letters last on October 13th I think  - 2 weeks ago Tuesday.  I can’t even imagine that we will see any new ones come out tomorrow because that would be too good to be true and wishful thinking and the consulate doing their job. And why would they want us to feel all warm and fuzzy and elated? 😂😢🦠😝

Right? Here’s to wishful thinking. If we don’t hear from them tomorrow, seems like we’ll have to wait until mid-Nov. Sigh!

Here is my updated link to my file which now has all IMM visas + K visas layered in 2019-2020.  The graphs however are not the greatest.  I would wait another month to see what the data gives.  Besides what was already shown of other consulates opening earlier than Montreal, what is interesting is that in mid 2019 the consulate continued to process non-spousal immigration and fiance visas at the same rate as before but put a hard stop on spousal immigration visas during that period.

I don’t think anybody got any ILs today. They usually come very early.

This is so discouraging. It is now October 27 and there are only 2 days with interviews in November.

Well so far I haven’t received anything. I’m so annoyed of the consulate doing nothing. I want to be home for Christmas.

Looks like we'll receive letters Mid-Nov for the remaining January DQs for December interviews. Hopefully, that would mean you'll still be home in time for Christmas! 🙏 🙂

My husband and I were PRAYING for a December interview date as well, but since the January DQs weren't really addressed in November, seems like we'll be pushed to January interviews now (we're a Feb DQ). Unless they do a mass scheduling in December (highly unlikely). So unfortunate and upsetting.

This is the situation in the UK right now. How many of us would have had our interview completed or scheduled  by now? 🙋🏻‍♀️

At this point, about half of us as it's looking to be an 11-12 month backlog now. With the US land border closed, it's even more frustrating as the only option is to fly which isn't exactly financially responsible or feasible depending on where our partners live in the US.

With everything already being submitted electronicly and the ability to send medical records directly to the consulate, at this point clearly they just don't have the will to address the backlog as there are definitely multiple ways.

You dont only have to fly. Many people have crossed at land borders with visas.

We don't have visas, so we need to fly every time we want to make a visit.  Once Montreal actually does things we can get visas and then not have to worry about this anymore.

My wife is 30km away from me right now and to reach her takes a $270 return flight and over 6 hours total travel time between getting to the airport, waiting at the airport (getting there earlier than I would when it's crowded because I anticipate lengthy and interesting conversations with the officers), the flight, getting out of the airport, and riding with my wife back to her place, which I overflew by like 100 miles in order to see her.  I'm hardly unique in this kind of situation haha, we all love who we're with and want to be with them more and going months without seeing them sucks so we shell out the money, and most of us are hurting financially anyway between the cost of the process and the cost of having to maintain the two residences the two parts of the couple live in haha (plus on a personal note the indignity of the rent on my 500 square foot "compartment", as my step-son calls it and he's not wrong, is roughly 30% more per month than my wife's house on 10 acres, which again is 30km away lol).
