Any interview news for Jan DQs? I would have thought to expect something by now. What in the world is NVC doing!

Nothing for me either, I’m January 11. I guess I was wrong to hope to hear anything yesterday and this morning apparently. I want to keep the hope up but after almost 27 months I’m tired of waiting. I don’t know why they aren’t scheduling us. They scheduled multiple K1 visa last week, why not Scheduling the same amount of spousal visa...

Yeah they worked on at least 3 days to send ILs and packets 3 and 4.

I know, it's super frustrating. I lose a bit of hope and patience every day. I think that's because Montreal was doing the scheduling vs. NVC. I'm not sure if Montreal has even provided additional dates so they could continue scheduling. I've seen posts that some embassies aren't even processing K1s until next year. Montreal is prioritizing them, which is totally fine, but be fair in processing spousals (who are at highest priority) as well!

Nothing for us as well; we DQ'd on Jan 29th.

We’re the 31st and we really want to know if there is a hope to be together for the new year. I really hope the consulate does not send the personnel away for Thanksgiving. They don’t appear to have done so last year but I am not taking anything for granted.

DQ Jan 8 here, nothing for us as well and you can count on us posting as soon as we hear something. I too thought that maybe we'd hear more this week, though it would mean NVC breaking with tradition and sending out IL in two separate batches instead of one.  My opinion is that Montreal only released dates to NVC for the first half of the month, and Nov 11 is being observed as a holiday at NVC so that further limited the number of days available.  Part of me has resigned myself to awaiting the next batch of ILs to be sent up Mid-November with December interview dates, but I certainly hope that I'm wrong on that and it occurs sooner.

If NVC and Montreal get their act together, you should have an interview in November or December! I'm DQ'ed in Feb 2020 and desperately hoping to be done with this process before the New Year! It's scary though because the holidays are approaching and that always adds some delays. I hope it won't though!

They literally sent out dates for only the first 2 weeks of Nov. If they were following tradition, they should have sent out a full month of dates! If they don't send something this week, they will have 2 weeks of November with no schedules at all. How would that be addressing their backlog? Doesn't seem like the smartest move to me.

I don’t think they are interested in their backlog.  It would be nice if they resumed close to normal numbers pre Covid by opening up another day for interviews. Or extending interview times as it seems most people go in the morning.  They announced Friday they’re resuming visa operations but then leave us hanging for 1.5 days now — it makes sense to me in business that when you say you’re going to do something, show some proof!

I am getting anxious about that too.  I thought we would see November interview dates populated by now.  When only a few came out Oct 13 I was sure we would see more coming out the 19th or 20th.

Hi all, new to this thread. Looking at the last posts, am I understanding that people who were DQ'ed last Dec-Jan-Feb have still not received their interview in Montreal yet? I just received my DQ today, but I'm assuming I might have to wait an excruciatingly long time for an interview date, seeing how many with DQ's from almost a year ago still haven't gotten interview dates...

Yeah, the consulate is very backed up. Folks DQ'ed last December have gotten their interview date, folks DQ'ed January 2020 are still waiting. This spreadsheet shows the most up-to-date info about folks in line for an interview: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LvnDvX95_tfWtTvsJJM49PDPPvPKal0WG2rgdZHhsz0/edit#gid=255923754

@Hawk Riders would be good to add Annie to the spreadsheet.
