Yes! I was trying to not use Sept in my analysis since those were scheduled weekly by Montreal and not NVC, but I agree! If they enough interview slots to fill 23 VJ members on our spreadsheet, then why not now! 5-6 is super low...maybe we'll here more this week or next week. I might call NVC as well to get an update on their process now that Montreal is communicating with them. If someone already has been in touch with them, kindly let us know what they heard!

At this rate, 5-6, many of us will celebrate our 10 year anniversary apart! 😂😭😱

I'm curious as to why its so important to get all the information as soon as possible. Its pretty obvious they haven't filled up November. And everyone assuming it will be like it was before covid for rescheduling (myself included) could easily be wrong. Everyone was freaking out last week that no interviews had gone out and now after some do it turns in to "is that all!?" It is very apparent that they are working their way through stuff and it hasn't been the normal way and this appears to be more of the same. Why is it so difficult to give it a week to see what happens before jumping to conclusions.

I’d use September. If they can reschedule at that pace then there’s no reason why that pace can’t keep up with the slots they give to the NVC (perhaps slightly slower with K1 interviews being taken into account since it appears they are being scheduled concurrently). I’d also love to know what the NVC is saying.

What did they specifically ask about other visa types?

They will say something like "We schedule the interviews the consulate sends us and don’t have any information as to upcoming interviews" as per usual.

In the past they have given out information such as if they are done scheduling for the month or not.

In the past they have done lots of things. I have yet to be dq'd and have something be like "before covid." I don't expect this to be any different.

Congrats! It seems to be common practice for them to release ILs for the spouse and ILs for the associated child with a delay between them. I think I remember that happening to @mam521 and @Canada+2USA.  If that is the case probably a worthy addition to the FAQ.

Added these both to the FAQ, and removed some reschedule specific information as they are now complete (Medisys phones being down, reusing IL for 2nd medical (since I hope that will never have to be a question asked again), etc).

What specifically?  This is kind of a new one on me.

Congratulations!

They ask what’s the longest you’ve ever stayed and if you’ve ever had issues crossing into the US (ie been denied at the border). If you’ve ever lived there and had a US visa in the past they’ll likely ask about that too.

what do you need meeting circumstances?

Expand

If your circumstances have changed since you uploaded your form then yes I’d fill in and upload a new one.

Meeting circumstances is literally just how you guys met: online on a gaming platform, through mutual friends at a party, while travelling, etc. Personally I said that we met while studying abroad in X country in X year.

Still no approval guys. i can't think of why. My wife said the interview was fine. Medical was the only thing on the 221g form. I am trying to think what could be the hold up. It seems odd that it's taking this long when people who interviewed after us with 221g's have had their visa approved. We have never broken any rules at all. Not even speeding tickets.

Was the medical late? Did you email the embassy?
