Sorry for the long post ahead, I wasn't able to access VJ all morning so I'm just catching up now!

Yay! I'm so glad we all have interviews on the same day! Even if we don't end up see each other in the waiting room it's going to be so comforting knowing that others from this group are going through the same thing at (roughly) the same time.

The first batch of ILs that went out after the last shut down were spread over two days so I really hope that that's the case this time too!

I'm going with Air Canada but that's mostly because I want to use up my points 🙃

WOOOOOOO!!! That's so exciting! Now we need @Japples and anyone else waiting who I've missed to get updates too!

It can take up to 24 hours. I haven't even tried yet but I'll let you know when I do!

Mine says in transit, excited for it to switch to at Montreal! Of note: I checked CEAC roughly 30 minutes after getting the IL and it still said at NVC

Good luck Hawk Riders! You've done so much for this group with the spreadsheet and in general keeping us on track and I cannot wait to hear that you've been approved :)

Good luck @Hawk Riders for tomorrow's interview. And yes, thank you so much for keeping us all Alive through this group. All the best.

Can someone share the time stamp and time zone that you received your IL this morning?

It also seems only the first 2 Mondays of November are scheduled so far. Perhaps they'll send out interview dates for Wednesdays tomorrow AM! Hopefully, they schedule through the full month of November for spouses. Fingers crossed. Hoping for a speedy process! 🙏

Good luck @Hawk Riders for your interview tomorrow!

I got my interview letter at 11:10pm Pacific Time.

I still haven't received the letter for my son - I called and they said it should come soon.

NOVEMBER 2ND 8:15 AM.

WE'RE IN BUSINESS GUYS.

SO so relieved to hear this news today. Congrats to you and everyone who got the letter today. Now time to update our FAQ:

'Has Montreal started working with the NVC to schedule new interviews?

YES. Since OCT 13 😁😁' .

I got the letter for my son! My letter came through at 11:10pm PDT Oct 12, and his came through 10:42pm PDT Oct 13. We both have the same interview date & time - I have no idea why they sent them separately.

Congrats! It seems to be common practice for them to release ILs for the spouse and ILs for the associated child with a delay between them. I think I remember that happening to @mam521 and @Canada+2USA.  If that is the case probably a worthy addition to the FAQ.

This seems so arbitrary and totally missing the point of requiring the quarantine.  If you were in the Vancouver area I'd offer to pick stuff up if you needed.  Stay somewhat entertained, I've been on that 14 day cruise on S.S. Small Apartment and that was the biggest thing.

Aw bless - thank you so much @legendqueue! yeah - it's completely missing the point, there was also an article on global of a couple that was refused entry to the US and then was told by Canada they had to quarantine. Makes zero sense to me.

Was it not ready on the 9th after all?

It was @Hawk Riders but they advised not mailing it and me picking it up instead because of the long weekend and my medical expiring this Friday. Good luck today! So happy for you!

I am so happy for all those who received IL today. Congratulations! This has been the best news in a while and I am glad that embassy was honest when replied to my email "we are resuming scheduling interviews". Good luck to everyone and to us, impatiently waiting for our IL, for Montreal to speed up resolving the backlog.

Same good luck to interviewees today. But no more IL today?  I expected some more Jan DQ dates to get their Nov IL’s today.
