Man reading this thread this morning has been an emotional JOURNEY.  I had six pages to read so it was angry, sad, MAD, despair, TOTAL despair, oh a message from DGF OMG YAY HOLY MACKEREL, and then just smiles and for whatever reason kinda tearing up even though I don't know any of you.

Nothing on my end. But covid has made us change our plans (we both live in Canada) and I will be delaying my interview for the foreseeable future.

 

For anyone in a similar situation I'll keep you posted on the process for delaying interviews. Congrats to everyone else that has gotten theirs today!

Nothing for us yet either but we are making plans to head back to Canada to get our quarantine started. Hopeful to hear tomorrow. 
 

also, just a note that I’ve had some major issues accessing this site since this morning. Other on FB have noted the same thing.

Yay! I'm so glad we all have interviews on the same day! Even if we don't end up see each other in the waiting room it's going to be so comforting knowing that others from this group are going through the same thing at (roughly) the same time.

The first batch of ILs that went out after the last shut down were spread over two days so I really hope that that's the case this time too!

It can take up to 24 hours. I haven't even tried yet but I'll let you know when I do!

Mine says in transit, excited for it to switch to at Montreal! Of note: I checked CEAC roughly 30 minutes after getting the IL and it still said at NVC.

I just got an interview date! I just received the email, at 2:10am Eastern Time! My interview is November 9th. I was DQ'd Jan 6th. I did NOT have an interview date before COVID - they've started scheduling new interviews!!!

So I realized I only got an email for myself, but not one for my 18-year-old son. I called NVC and they said that he is in line for an interview, and it is noted in the file we are to be interviewed together. She said to just keep an eye out for the email, it should come soon. 

 

Our DQ emails were received over 3 hours apart, so hopefully this is the same kind of thing and his will come tonight. Fingers crossed! I don't want to book anything until I have them both!!!
