As suggested by @Lovepeace0303 , You can find visa data spreadsheet maintained by @Hawk Riders on below link. This spreadsheet tracks Canadian CR1/IR1 cases progress till passport return.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LvnDvX95_tfWtTvsJJM49PDPPvPKal0WG2rgdZHhsz0/edit#gid=1638721492

Furthermore, I suggest you to read CR1/IR1 Montreal FAQ maintained by @DGF in your free time.

This is a highlight reel from the “CR1/IR1 waiting for Montreal Interview” group chat  which has been moved to a thread on the Canada forum.

Feel free to post questions if you have any.

This forum is full of wonderful and knowledgeable members.

thank you @Hawk Riders - driving to Montreal shortly, have got all my ducks in a row! I can't seem to find it in the thread - but is the DS-260 confirmation enough or do we need the whole application printed?

NVC says confirmation; the letter from MTL said whole thing.

IIRC no one has actually been asked for the whole thing...

Hey guys, anyone who has recently had an interview - did you have to get new passport photos? Mine were take in February so they're older than 6 months. In the appointment confirmation email they sent it just said 2 passport photos, no mention of how recent but in other lists I've seen that they have to be taken within 6 months. Does anyone know if that's still a requirement?

In February I just got them at a walmart photo but now I have no idea where to get them and I'm really nervous about going in somewhere to take pictures without a mask. (I'm in the GTA)

My husband got new ones for his interview last week because we just did not want to risk anything. He went to Costco because they do both American and Canadian-sized photos, but I also believe CAA will do them.

My wife emailed the consulate about this a couple of weeks ago and they said that the two passport photos should be from the last 6 months, so you will need new ones. There's a chance you could get away with using the old ones, but no reason to take that risk.

If you're just briefly taking off your mask to get a photo taken, with how far away the photographer will be, there isn't a health risk there.

Photo requirements are as follows:

  • Taken within the last 6 months to reflect your current appearance

It's listed on the US Gov website for Visa application: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/photos.html

Is the size of the photographs the same for the interview and the medical? I'm assuming we'll need 2x2 pictures to satisfy both requirements. I tried to look for this in the FAQ, but couldn't find the photo size for the medical? Also, do we have to get them stamped in the back? I know the FAQ said it wasn't required, but wasn't sure if this was checked at all for those folks that already had their interviews/medicals.
