You think we'll have updates only in the week of 12 of October? I was hoping to have some news this week :(

I would be THRILLED if we could get updates this week, but they traditionally send out new interview batches mid-month. Trust me, this period of time spent waiting for an interview date is just PAINFUL. 😩

I would guess that they'll schedule the last of the remaining cancelled K1 interviews this week, then hopefully begin scheduling new CR/IR interviews next week!

I am SO nervous for next week! I'm seeing some K1's (I believe the ones that currently have cases at the consulate but haven't scheduled interviews yet) have had their dates update in CEAC today and I'm really hoping it's a good sign that we'll hear something this month. I'm also very glad that we don't have last updated dates because I'd drive myself nuts constantly checking it 😂

The wait is now brutal! My 2 year old cries every time he sees his dad on FaceTime :(. How do we know when your last ceac was updated?

What does having your dates updated in ceac mean for K1s? Does that mean those waiting at the consulate have gotten new interview dates? I would hope they move back to scheduling the new CR1/IR1 interviews now as highest priority. I was hoping your CEAC would show "in transit" or location "at Montreal" some time this week as NVC sends over new interview cases to Montreal, but I'm not sure when CEAC reflects this update. SIGH.

I feel so bad for all the children caught up in this process :( We can't see when our cases were last updated (although I don't see why it wouldn't just be the date we were DQ'd) it's only K1s that can. I don't know why.

I don't know. The ones that are getting updated dates are all at the consulate so I'd guess that it means the consulate is doing something with them, hopefully prepping to get their P4s out. I think we'll likely be treated with the same priority (if not sliiiightly higher due to our backlog) going forward. I've been hoping that too, especially with the K1 updates, so I've been checking my CEAC status a couple times a day and will absolutely post something if it changes before ILs are out!
