I wish I had good news like everyone that has had interviews or had their interview today. The interview portion was painless and quick. I had all and extra documents. Everything was going amazing until the end when he told me he couldnt approve my visa today and gave me no further information. TO say I feel shattered is an understatement.

I am so very sorry to hear this, I was watching for you but didn't see you.  I read the thread and it must have to do with your replacement passport,.. I know that isn't comforting right now ... if you ever need to chat I'm sure we are all here for you.  I'll be praying that you hear from them very soon.

Question - did anyone with a recent interview, or ever, have their status say "refused" on CEAC before it changed to anything else? I'm literally holding the letter that says "Welcome to the USA" and as I shared above everything was super smooth at the interview. Soooo I'm going to assume this is a mistake and that tomorrow everything is going to fix itself. She did say sometimes it takes a minute for everything to update in the system, but I didn't expect to see the word "Refused" show up at any point. Please let me know if anyone else has seen this before. I'm sure it must be a mistake.

Yes this is normal now. It's in the FAQ.

No problem! It only started happening when interviews resumed so it's a new addition, easy to miss :)

So my interview was Monday September 21, and my visa delivery says it's in transit today September 23, expected arrival September 29!   (From Montreal-Abbotsford BC)

When I did my medical with Medisys on the 16th, they told me I’d have the results delivered at home within 5 business days, that I’d get an email letting me know they’d been shipped. Well, guess what day it is 🙃 and I haven’t heard anything.

I’m VERY happy I didn’t accept the original option that they offered me: medical on the 22nd, with results back on the 29th between 2-4pm, but since I work I would have had to pick them up on my way to the interview. The lady kept promising the results date is guaranteed and I was like “no thank you” lol.

They used to be super fast and reliable but not so much anymore.

My husband had his medical with them on the 16th and they called him today to come and pick up. His interview is Monday

I appreciate you telling me this :) it reassures me. I’m glad he’s all set! I’m excited to have my package in hand so that I have everything too, shouldn’t be too long then.

I am USC and my husband (Canadian) was DQ’d mid May, he is anxiously waiting for his interview, which could be a while from now..I find the information in this group has been extremely valuable and will help us a lot when the time comes for his interview. I’ve been following the comments daily and appreciate all the information posted by everyone. We both live in Canada and will be driving to Montreal when the time comes, hopefully not during a bad snowstorm as they have had some nasty winters there lol. Good luck to all with your interviews!

Hi there, it's nice to hear that your case is exactly like ours. My husband (Canadian) and me (USC) both have been living in Canada and my husband's name my husband's documents got approved on July 10. It seems like it will he loooong wait time :( good luck.
