They said by the end of the week. But the embassy probably won't even look at anything regardless of when they receive it. If it's late it's late. they work like a monopoly.

Thank you for the positive vibes.

I’m hopeful they’ll process it quickly, especially because people have been reporting them to be quite empathetic lately. They know how long we’ve been waiting due to Covid, plus your case was expedited! I know it’s easier to be optimistic when one is neutral to the situation though. Don’t lose hope, the hardest part is done!

I thought we would get for November with at nvc. But I’m kinda worried now considering oct 19 is closer to end of month and they still got half of March and all of April interviews to complete. Ughhhh and November is full of holidays.

Yeah this is unfortunate news. The new interviews may be looking at December.

Our cancellations were rescheduled over a period of 4 weeks and cover 7 weeks.

MTL started the K1 today, and with a parallel rescheduling it's likely new IR/CR1 interview letters will hit in Nov...

Cool a 12 month wait for an interview.

That’s so far 😫 I know it’s not really. I’m just tired, I started the process in August 2018 and still waiting. I’m just sad to see people who started after me getting there interview date just because uscis messed up our case and caused delays. It’s suck as my husband had to stop working beginning of September as his canadian student visa expired. And Montréal refused to expedite  because they say it won’t be long before we get an interview... well it’s long...

Yup, we'd have been done in February at the latest if USCIS hadn't screwed up.

I just wanna cry now. This isn’t fair, we need to keep posting onto their Twitter I think. That’s how they communicated last time.

I'm SO upset about this!! UGH! I was really hoping for a December interview. I feel like this process will never end. The moment I see some light at the end of the tunnel, something or the other comes up again. A FULL YEAR waiting for an interview is absolutely INSANE. They really should have just prioritized spousal visas (defined as mission-critical by our President).

USCIS screwed up our case too and added an additional 6 months of waiting to our process. I never thought bringing my spouse over from CANADA (a low fraud country) would be dragged out this long. I'm definitely feeling more down today than I have been in a long time.

So true! I’m not sure why they can’t prioritize spouses over k-1s or alternate the days and interview 5 days a week. There is no sympathy whatsoever

I am trying to be happy for the K1s being rescheduled but it is hard in this very moment. Even though we are both mission critical spouses are supposed to be highest priority while fiances are just high priority. I guess that's what being louder (and threatening to sue) gets you. Really regretting coming back to Canada on Monday, which I only did because I was expecting a November interview and needed extra time to get my THIRD police certificate because Montreal can't get their act together for long enough to not let the backlog reach AN ENTIRE YEAR.

I should probably back off on posting until I'm a more palatable human being...

I wasn't able to replace original docs, so everything added after DQ was in additional docs.

On a positive note, Montreal scheduling well into October despite the current alerts makes it seem like they don't expect to be shutting down again.

Generally speaking, yes, the interminable waiting is hard on everyone.

However, empathy for those continuing to await *rescheduling* is called for here. Have a heart for the fiancee couples feeling abandoned by the consulate & embrace patience.

Nobody ever said this bureaucratic immigration process would be speedy.
