I saw someone on this thread state earlier that they had their medical in Montreal Dec 2, sent confirmation on Dec 6, and then Interview Dec 15, and it was not received on time... Could be slightly of on dates... but possibly a consulate delay.

Out of curiosity, did everyone who's had delays with their medical results getting to the consulate go through Dr. Zatzman? Or have others had this issue with different visa doctors this month?

I had my medical done by Dr. Randall Lee's office, in Toronto on Dec. 2nd. The office called me to confirm they had sent the results to the consulate on Dec. 7th.  My interview was Dec. 9th. It is surely a consulate delay. The Dr's have done a great job scheduling the medicals and getting results to the consulate; in my case all within a week.

That could very much be it! Check your last date updated as well and keep monitoring the tracker. Keep us posted!

My last "update" was Dec.11th, which is the day I uploaded my background check. I wrote to the Consulate on the 14th to alert them of my upload.

Today I got a taste of what it feels like to have some movement and boy does it feel good!!

Fingers crossed

Toes crossed

My case is getting touched in CEAC, but there has been no update yet. I emailed the Consulate and they responded TODAY stating that my medical still wasn't received but it was sent on Dec 6th. I don't really know what else to do. Has anyone experienced this long of a delay from medical results sent to Consulate received? It's been almost 2 weeks for us. I'm thinking of getting a print out now confirming case was submitted from Dr. Zatzman to email to the Consulate. I don't know what else to do. Anyone have any advice on how to best tackle this? My patience is running very low now!

Yes, my husband was at his medical and they had to contact the embassy in order for them to fix something so they could upload the info into the system. Then he had to return to his medical to complete it the next day. Then it took the embassy three weeks to deliver the passport back. He was in a hotel room for three weeks waiting. He couldn't move because of not wanting to get covid before leaving for the states. I had to email make and forth to IOM and the embassy to make sure they were communicating not only with me but what was being done between the offices. So , I just suggest keeping up with emails and not waiting. As per our experience. Just a suggestion. Prayers. It's a hard road but you will get through it.

To refresh my memory, what are the Canadian form we need to fill out and send once we have crosses the border to let them know we left the country and that we are not permanent resident of Canada anymore?

So I’m trying to pay the Green Card fee and I can’t because the IV number is 15 characters and it will Only let you put in 14 characters. It says to try again if the visa was issued recently, so I’ll guess I’ll have to wait.

You can either merely reflect that you have left on your next tax return.

Although not a requirement, fill out the NR73. Nr73 decision paperwork from CRA is usually required by financial institutions in order to release full lump sum LIRA’s etc.

From few hours to 24 hours did they finally get the medical?

Okay, thanks! Just checked today and it said Issued-admin processing. Seems like they received medical or contacted the doctor, who knows! I hope everyone else waiting on the medical gets through too. I’m guessing since it’s now the weekend, we’ll get another issued/passport tracking update on Monday. 🙏🏽🤞🏼

Sorry it took you so long! :( I think your situation is a bit different since you were put in AP and stuck waiting during the COVID shutdown. Glad that's now behind you! ❤️

So ture

Is the CEAC tracker link down for you guys too? Didn’t seem to be working over the weekend either. Where can we report this so they get it fixed?

Yes, it seems to be down. Hasn’t been working for most of the weekend
