Odd question when bringing your belongings over the border... Has anyone ever had any experience crossing with taxidermy/animal bones before? Certain things like a polar bear skull I have paperwork for, but common stuff like a raccoon or deer I don't. Maybe I should contact the game wardens of the state I'm passing through to ask? Any info is appreciated! ♡

GUYS ITS BEEN 24 HRS AND CANNOT ACCESS IT PLEASE HELP

Please stop yelling.

It can take a few days. I believe it was 2-3 days for us with November interviews to be able to register. You have until the day before your interview to register so there is no rush to do it right now.

Curious to know as well. Never thought anything of it, but I will have to move mounted fish and ducks eventually.

Hi everyone!

just looking at booking my medical exam in Ontario. Does anyone have a recommended doctor from the 3 options? I’m currently looking at Dr. Zatzman in Vaughn.

I’m also wondering how much time I need to give them in advance of my interview? Interview is on Wed the 20th. Should I book for the previous Monday? Or is 2 weeks before better?

lastly, is it recommended/necessary to bring evidence of the marriage to an IR1 interview? Should I be bringing a photo album or printing receipts from trips? is there any thing other than the required documents I need to bring?

Thank you so much!!

Sorry if this has been asked.  Given the current lockdowns and restrictions on inter-provincial travel, has anyone travelled from Toronto to Montreal recently for their interview and what method of transportation did you use?  If driving, did you need to supply any documentation at the provincial border?  I was thinking of taking a train but I might drive instead especially if the train schedule dictates a hotel stay.  Hoping to make a day trip out of it - get in and get out.  Thanks.

There are no inter provincial restrictions right now between Quebec and Ontario.

All three doctors are fine. You’ll want to schedule the medical ASAP.  They say it takes up to 10 business days to get results. The doctor will send the results electronically and it’s better it gets to the consulate sooner than later.

The consulate really sticks to the checklist. They want original documents and a passport photo. My husband took a few photos of us to his interview and they didn’t ask for it.

Hi, do you know the time frame you have to leave Canada when you get your green card? Is it 6 months from the time it’s approved or from your medical date. Thanks

Hello Everyone,

My husbands initial interview was 2 years ago. He was denied and asked to get a 601 waiver. The 601 waiver was approved May 2020. We were asked to send in updated police record and medical October 2020, which we sent everything in right away. We were hoping to get an IL this month but did not. My question is, are we looking at an IL next month or with a reoath is it different. I know they only send IL out once a month but I wasn't sure with a 2nd Interview if it might be different. Thanks so much for your help.
