Does the A-Number start with an "A" or is it only numbers? Is it the registration number on the visa stamp? My registration number doesn't start with an A

Did you just get your passport back on 30 Oct?

Your A-number is the one on the visa; some forms have you complete it as A-##########

Agreed. I’m also done comparing the two categories. The Consulate knows they need to address Spousals too, so let’s just wait and see what happens next week. I’m mentally drained from all of this, especially with things that aren’t in our control.

I think most of us are exhausted and mentally drained.  🙋🏻‍♀️ It’s keeping track is all. If we keep track then we’ll know approximately when we should be expecting letters.   The March K1’s are almost complete, except for a few stragglers who appear to be forgotten and are getting passed.  I want to continue to hold the consulate accountable to what they say they're going to do. There’s a reason they did that video; we the people are tweeting and messaging and emailing and showing that we know what is going on.  I think it’s important we are vocal and let them know we’re watching, waiting, expecting and following along.

Totally agree! I’ve been doing the same. Tweeting, messaging,  posting, etc. They definitely need to know we are watching their every move. I’m just TIRED of the what-ifs. Like just tell us when you’ll send NVC dates, how many, etc. I’m so tired of living in the unknown!

Sending positive thoughts to everyone. It’s indeed so emotionally taxing not knowing.

Also, if anyone thought of sending an expedite request, I would’ve bother if it’s not a life or death situation.

We sent an expedite request via Senator Bernie Sanders’ office, and it was denied. My husband is suffering from a debilitating disease, and we had extensive documentation, physician notes, etc. It’s extremely serious, and has the potential to turn into cancer. So if something as extreme as my husband’s case is denied, I really wouldn’t hold my breath for any leeway from the consulate.

I know that nothing else but an IL will lighten your moods, but health is so important. The pain of seeing your loved one suffer alone and not being able to physically tend to them is gut-wrenching.

I wish you all speedy letters.

Hey everyone,

I would like to update the group on my case. My interview was on September 30th. The CO gave me 221g and requested a police certificate from my home country. I sent the requested documents on October 20th and my visa was issued on October 30th. I am so thankful to everyone on this group. I will keep praying for the ones who are still in this process. May you all get your interviews soon 🙏🏼

Was it expired ? Did you upload one in CEAC when you were at the NVC ?

I had one from a few years ago. I went back to the country last year so the consulate asked for an updated certificate. Yes, I did upload one at the NVC stage.

Gosh it is just painful logging in every day to check the spreadsheet and see that absolutely no IL's have gone out. Are they *any* pending CR/IR-1 cases at the Consulate now? It looks like all pending interviews for spouses are done, but no IL's? They're just wasting so much time.

I have huge anxiety over here as my hubby is really at risk from Covid and is sheltering up here in Canada with me, but we'll have to extend his visitor status in Jan. He can't go back on his own as he can't get the essentials without risking exposure. 😕 I was DQed in September, but at this rate I'll be looking at a Sept 2021 interview. I'm considering filing an expedite with the consulate, but we're not hopeful at all even though USCIS gave us one.

Remember, normal protocol is a monthly batch letter mid-month.

Also a couple of people are interviewing on the 9th.

In terms of expedite, I wouldn't hold my breathe. My husband is suffering from a debilitating disease and is struggling immensely to care for himself. We had extensive proof, physician notes, lengthy medication lists, etc...and we got denied. I'm in the same boat as you in terms of timeline. All I can hope is that his case doesn't worsen while he waits for me to go and care for him.

Let's just hope, by some miracle, the consulate gets back on track.

I'm sure we're all racking up expensive therapy bills due to the anxiety. I want to say that I'm trying to stay positive, but it's hard. This group certainly helps me, as I know I'm not alone feeling this way.
