Husband scanned his passport-sized photos, front and back and uploaded.

I noticed in your journey, you have mentioned touched multiple times? How are you able to tell? My case status at the USCIS tells me nothing really except that they received the petition.

We file don September 28th, so I'm hoping for a January adjudication as VJ is currently predicting as being in the range of possibilities. But I don't know if they have even looked at the case at all yet.

That is correct; the last known touch was on October 19..and after USCIS implemented new changes it is not possible to tell anything any more. Lawfully predicts adjudication range for our date as between January 5-May 5, quite the range Lol VisaJourny prediction just went to like late April or something.  Not very helpful and I dont think anyone looked at the case at all other than initial acceptance. We expect to hear something between June and Sept of next year. Husband inquired online about the status of the case 2+ weeks ago. No response so far.

11-20-2019 - mailed docs to NVC

12-20-2019 - DS-260 done

01-28-2020 - NVC DQ-ed

02-08-2020 - husband flew back to the States

02-14-2020 - IV interview scheduled for 03-31-2020

03-15-2020 - pending IV interview cancelled due to COVID

08-04-2020 - US Embassy notified us - not eligible for a follow -to-join immigration route anymore. Spouse has naturalized. Advised to re-start the process with I-130 😯

"2 heart attacks" and a month later....

09-08-2020 - applied online I-130

09-09-2020 - NOA1 sent out

09-16-2020 - received NOA1 hardcopy, case pending at Texas SC,

Online case status check, shows case pending at Nebraska SC

Anyone else get a new tab added to their account? It says Case History, nothing in it when I open it though.

Yes, I had a new tab added to my account..and then in a matter of one day..it disappeared. I think they were just implementing the new system.

My wife and I filed at the end of August and got our initial date of September 3, 2020.  We were assigned to the Nebraska service center so we are waiting to see how that turns out.  I guess we are happy that we are already three months into the process I suppose.  I am looking forward to following everyones journey here.

I am sure frustrated like everyone else.  I log into my account every so often and there is no movement on the visa application but I am not getting the email from them every two weeks to show inactivity.   Does anyone know why people that applied after us are already getting approved, some in like 50 days and others just sit there?

Yeah I know what you mean. We filed on September 25th with an NOA1 date of September 25th. Last week I saw a timeline with an NOA1 of September 23rd already got their NOA2.

It’s annoying that something so expensive still takes this long. When my wife moved to the Netherlands, we paid less than 200 euros and she had here residence permit within 2 months. The whole process to moving to the States is costing more than 2000 dollars and you just have to hope you get in within a year...

In the mean time my wife already moved back to the States, as the reason why we are doing this is the health of my in-laws, to help her parents, and we are separated for a undisclosed amount of time... frustration

Hi🙋🏽‍♀️, Linos! All is well on my end. Thanks for checking in. How are you?

Do I need to be expecting a separate letter in the mail for online access? I don't see anything (except the receipt) online to give me hope that our package has been touched at all. 😔

I never receive the second letter.  I had to call the help desk and they reset the access code and gave me a new one over the phone.  I could see the letter with the original access code in the documents section.  I guess it just never made it to me.  I keep seeing people looking up their file and seeing that it was "touched".  I am not seeing anything like that.  Th last time it looks like my file had anything done to it was September 5th when they uploaded a couple of my scanned documents.  So frustrating!!!

Do you think Emma can reset the code if needed? Or was it difficult reaching someone from helpdesk?

No, I had to get a number for the Help desk.  I went through the 1-800 number and waited until I got a live agent.  They gave me the number for the help desk.  I think the help desk number was 1-202-838-2200.  The customer service number was 800-375-5283.  I hope that helps.
