I thought documents needed to be in English or in the language of the country you’re applying from? I mean I managed to get everything in English, but I thought English wasn’t the only option you had.

 

As far as NVC timelines go, from what I’m seeing on VisaJourney, it seems to move pretty fast at the moment. I’m hoping for a June flight to the States.

Heads up, I just logged into NVC and my IV fee shows as paid and I can start that application finally.

 

Think you should check your as well. Chances are yours also shows as paid!

Congrats all on moving to the NVC stage - just to give my recent experience - we submitted everything on the 16th of Feb and were DQed the next day which was shocking! Now waiting for the embassy in Dublin to get through the backlog 🙈

Yeah, mine showed up as paid last night. I just submitted everything, so now we wait, again. 🕵️‍♂️

Hello,  I had a question for all of you in the NVC stage. Is that when you do your biometrics? When I was talking to a USCIS rep she said that they are waiting on our Biometrics but we are still in the NOA1 phase. No active review yet, although we were transferred to Texas from Nebraska.

Two out of three i-130 petitions finally approved (my hubby and son's) after what felt like an eternity of waiting! Just waiting for my daughter's now.  She had an RFE due to late registered birth certificate (she was born before my husband and I were married and it's British law to re-register after marriage). I have explained that with the RFE and hopefully they'll accept that 🤞🤞🤞 x x

Quite right, the wait for the USCIS is insane. It also doesn't help that all these organizations don't work a first come first serve system.

To be honest this doesn't change much during the NVC phase, the waiting times are just shorter in between steps. But I've seen NVC cases get DQ'd in between 4 days and 1 month, all in 2021.

I hope all our fellow September filers here something from USCIS soon.
