My case has already been created at the NVC (15th). It looks like this might be done in batches or something, because I noticed another timeline that I follow also had their NVC case created on the 15th while their I-130 got approved on the 4th of March. Did yours also go through to the NVC?

No notification from NVC yet, only from USCIS - post-decision activity that case was sent out on March 5, I plan to wait until  NVC cross over my date, but it may have to do with how Vermont sends these out. Hope to get NVC e-mail any day now, will def call on Monday to scream cry about it...

update

received NVC case creation e-mail earlier today, case created (March 16th)

In the meantime, getting that police certificate is going to be a challenge, we are in a week long lockdown (for now) with only grocery stores and pharmacies open.

But at least it's steps. I personally feel much better about this part of the process, because it's smaller steps that take less time. Unlike the I-130 which is a giant black box with a lottery inside.

It looks like at European consulates you can have an interview within 2 months after filing you documents, so it's looking pretty good from here on out.

We are on lockdown too here, but most civil services are still available thankfully. In preparation of the I-130 approval I did already get everything though. I need the NVC to process my payment and then I can file the documents. I just need the verification of employment from my employer for the Affadavit of Support.

Oh I hear you..fingers crossed it does not take long from here.

This is not our 1st rodeo with USCIS or NVC, for that matter. We had follow-to-join petition done and dusted awhile ago, even scheduled IV interview at the Embassy for march 2020 that was cancelled due to Covid, and later learned from the Embassy  that we needed to start from scratch and apply for I-130 since husband naturalized. So here we are again paying NVC fees :) AOS is ready and all financial and civil docs, except for the police cert, but I am hopeful. Just waiting for fees to be processed and once docs are uploaded, it will be another waiting game. NVC person looking at docs will be like "oh, its you again" or at least Embassy will for sure. :) They still have the old case sitting somewhere.

By the way, our Embassy held consular Q&A online a month ago, and interest was high for mostly visitor visas, there was one caller whose child was DQ-ed @ NVC back in Sep 2020 and they still did not have an interview scheduled. That gave me pause for a day or two. It is probably due to the fact that all files get in the same queue so it cannot be distinguished if it is a IR1 IR2 or EB3 or E2, I mean this can get dicey.

So, back to my original comment, baby steps

And good luck to us all here.

Yeah, here I was thinking it was going to be smooth sailing from here on out.

Now there's a problem with the fees being processed at the NVC. I paid the IV fees, and then 5 mins later the AOS fees. 3 days later, the AOS fees change status to paid, but the IV fees are still stuck on in processing, even a couple days later. On top of that the Visa Status Checker tells me the NVC did receive the files and I have to file DS-260, but in the CEAC I still can't access the DS-260 due to fee not having been processed. Frustrating...

same here,

paid both fees with like 24hr difference, AOS shows as paid, IV is still processing, and CEAC status is action required - complete DS-260, which I cant click on yet.

I already took a look, and also sent a message to the NVC. Below is what I found on VisaJourney, and what I have emailed to the NVC. Fingers crossed!

Hello, I was having this issue after paying my fees on December 20th, after a couple of days the IV fee was showed as PAID and I could access the form but AOS was showing as IN PROCESS. I sent them the following email on December 31 with our information filled in:

To: NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

“Hello, here is our case information:

Case #:
Invoice #:

Beneficiary Name:
Beneficiary Birthdate:

Petitioner Name:
Petitioner Birthdate:

I paid both the IV fee and the AOS fee on December 20, however the AOS fee is still showing as “In Process” and we are unable to access the form.  Any assistance would be very much appreciated.  I am attaching an image of both fees coming out of my bank account.

Thank you very much for your time.”

I then attached a screen shot of both fees coming out of my bank account.

By January 2nd the AOS fee showed as PAID and the form was available.  Not sure if it was my email that moved things along or they rebooted their system but it worked.  Hope this helps.

Great, thx for sharing. I did go this morning to get Police Cert, it will be ready for pickup in 3 days, and I still need to send it out for translation, looking at rush services like 1hr or so. Was really hoping to line up all docs and click Submit before Friday March 26th. And I am not happy with NVC timelines, they are still in dec 2020. This is gonna be another long year. 😨
