Thanks for the info!  Unfortunately? I was honest when they asked who they were speaking with - I'm the beneficiary and they must speak to the petitioner. For anyone's information, the phone number they gave me for my husband to call was 1-800-375-5283.

Anyone noticed processing times went backwards. Went back to November 2019 from July 2020.

Estimated time-range is now - 12 Months to 16 Months 😮

 

 

Hopefully this is temporary.

Oh wow, which service center is that? Nebraska actually went down to 5 to 7 months. Our case passed the 5 month line last week, so I really hope to get the approval soon. Especially since there is a VisaJourney member who filed in December and they already got approved last week.

Nope,

Receipt Notice came out of Texas, while online status checks said it was sitting in Nebraska.

 

We did not get any notice what-so-ever about the transfer to Vermont. Hubby did take a day off today to inquire with USCIS, and the e-mail literally came in 1hr before he was getting ready to call.

As of today, our case is under active review! Hopefully approval will follow soon. Personally I expect this wait to be the worst part of the whole process. After filing you don’t hear anything for such a long time. The next phase has multiple targets to focus on, makes it feel like things move forward at the very least.

About an hour ago, our petition was approved! Hope the NVC and Consulate processes go smoothly, but this approval will make the coming months of separation a little more tolerable, knowing we are moving ahead. I hope all our fellow September filers receive good news soon too!

Thats so nice. Im happy for you. We are approved yesterday and Im already worrying about the affidavit of support because my spouse makes the exact minimum amount required and we cant think of a sponsor. New phase, new issues that kinda makes you question everything

 I wouldn’t worry about that too much, my wife was barely over the limit. I just put my own salary and savings, it worked just fine.

Well you can only put down your own salary, if that salary continues from the same source of course. That won’t always be possible for people migrating.

Yeah according to the NVC page, on March 8th they were creating cases for files received from the USCIS on February 25th. So I’d expect your case to be created sometime this coming week. And mine a little bit more than a week later.

Anyone has experience with this? Everything has gone now including the tab you could see the status, all your uploaded evidences and etc,.
