Even if we have enough assists, household and savings? 😔

Up to the consular officer to decide. If the house is the primary residence can’t be used as it would cause hardship if sold (where would you live?).

Virginia. Thank you! I wish I had some clear answer from embassy.

"Where would you live" refers to the house, not the state.  As you were talking about using assets in lieu of income, and that poster was explaining why the petitioner's primary residence could not be used:  if it was liquidated (sold) for cash, there would be no place to live.

Got it. Thanks a lot! I just don’t get why CO didn’t ask us for joint sponsor or financial proof? Why would he insist on getting W2 from unemployed instead...? Embassy doesn’t reply at all. Can we just go  ahead and take joint sponsor?

You can get a joint sponsor and see if the embassy will accept it.  They don't have to.

Why can the petitioner not work in order to sponsor the immigrant?  It seems that is what your embassy really wants to see, and if you want a visa, you have to do what they ask.

That is great news. Was your interview cancelled in March/April or is it new interview call? When was your DQ from NVC? I am IR1 category still waiting for interview letter from US embassy in Abu Dhabi.

I have the same question. It would be great to know if it was a new interview call and that they resumed scheduling appointments for spousal visas
