Hi All,

 

I am LPR (Unconditional GC of 10 yrs) going to file for Re-Entry Permit, need some help in filling the form.

 

On Form I-131
Page 1
Item 6. Class of Admission: ? (What I need to fill here)

 

Page 2
Item 1. Date of Intended Departure: ? (I cannot confirm right now)

Item 2. Expected Length of Trip: ? (Cannot confirm right now)

 

Page 3

Item 1a. Purpose of Travel: Personal / meet the family (can I put this as a reason ?)

Item 1b. List of countries you would intend to visit: As of now just my home country ie 1, but could be more as well not sure. (what should I put here ?)

Look for "Category" on Green Card:

You can put an estimated date and length.

Yes, that is fine.

It's fine to just put your home country.

Thanks a lot @HRQX for the info.

 

I am going to give my neighbor friend's address in St.Louis, because I cant trust my roommates with an important document. My friend would courier the ReEntry permit to me if I happen to leave before it arrives.

 

So how to fill these items in page 1 under physical address.

Page 1

2g. Postal Code: ?  (for a US address does this apply ?)
2h. Province: ? (for a US address does this apply ?)

You can also tell USCIS on Page 3 to send the Reentry permit to your preferred US consular post (New Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, etc.) and you pick it up in person there. They send it very securely through diplomatic pouches.
