Hello Guys,

I received an email that The National Visa Center (NVC) completed its processing of my immigrant visa application and forwarded it to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General, where an immigrant visa interview has been scheduled. Based on https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-10-prepare-for-the-interview.html .

It says :

You do not need to bring your Affidavit of Support or financial evidence you submitted to NVC.

My question is has anybody went through the interview recently and were asked for Tax return or affidavit of support ? Thank you so much in advance

What is your visa type? NVC always says that but local embassies/ consulates got power, for example, Ho Chi Minh consulate will not proceed with your interview without up-to-date financial support and tax docs.
