Hello all, i'm sorry, i have a lot of questions today:)

I've got touristic visa before i met my fiance in Tinder, now we putting together documents for K1. I want to visit him in US when we will have NOA1.

I want to tell officers on border that i'm going to visit my fiance while K1 in process.

I've heard a lot of people did this without problems, but some people was refused to let in US.

I want to know some reasons why they can refuse and what we can do to not let it happen.

I also want to tell them i would like to stay with him for 2 month in US (Then i'll try to extend my time in US officialy). Two month it's a lot and could it cause suspicion?
Because i would like to spend with him all 6 month before to go back home for an interview if we will be able to extend my time there legally, because we're not going to break the rules. I mean if they will give me only one month there and we will not be able to extend it so i'll leave US in month.

But probably if i'll tell them about 6 month on border i will not be let in for sure?

What is the maximum time of stay in the USA so that there is no suspicion?

2 rules you should have in mind:-

Rule number 1: Do not lie to immigration

Rule number 2:Do not lie to immigration

Now that you understand that, nothing stops you from visiting, only the usual rules of visiting visas will be applied which is that you can prove that you plan to return to your home country.

If you plan to stay 6 months... That's a long time, bring the question to mind if you have something to go back to as no job will alow you leave for 6 months.

If you plan to stay 2 months then say it as it is... Show evidence that you have something to go back to in your home country.

Most times you will be allowed in for 6 months even if you planned to stay for 2 weeks.

Just get your story straight.

I don't have a job now so i don't know what i can show them to prove...
I have apartments here it's can be as evidence?

Start by asking yourself why will you want to go back to Russia after your visit. What will motivate you to back home?

You should also know you visit him, and get married then go back home and he files CR1 for you instead of k1

I have my own apartments and family here. But that's it.

Number 1 reason for denial of entry is due to lack of ties to home country.  By law, every person attempting entry into the US is already presumed to be entering with the intent to stay and adjust status.  The onus is on you to convince the CBP officer that you fully intend to return to your home country after the visit if you are asked.  You will probably be asked the purpose of your visit.  Do not lie.  Your lack of a job is not helpful.  The apartment lease helps.....but people leave more than that behind to stay in the US every year.  This pandemic and the long, stand-still K-1 process has likely caused a increased level in scrutiny at the border....for good cause.  The CBP officer will make the determination of how long you can stay.    Good luck.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Anything you can bring, in English, to show you have commitments would be helpful if they ask......

I would also say that shorter planned visits seem to be better.  If I was a CBP officer, and someone came up to me and said they plan a trip for 2-6 months even if they have a return ticket, I would be a little suspicious.  Every entry is different and every officer is different of course, but having a B2 with the ability to come and visit is a big privilege, back when my now wife and I were starting this process, she tried twice to get a B2 with a solid job, apartment, and close family at home and was denied both times.  We had to resort to Skype/Viber as well as my short visits to Russia.

Just my two cents.

Good Luck!

Don't lie. It sounds like you plan on staying longer than 2 months and will only extend it once you "pass through" immigration. Just be aware.

I thought that extention of time in US i can get from the same service and they can decide if they will let me stay more or not. It is not the same service?

I mean we want to spend 2 month together now and it's true, but maybe we will fell that we want to be together more and if we can get this right legally. Is it bad?

I'm not going to break the rules and I will only stay in the US for the permitted period. I don't want problems with K1.

If you enter with the intention to stay 6 months,  but you state you only plan to stay 2 months, that is absolutely lying.  Regardless of a plan to request an extension.

Not worth it.  Just don’t do it.

We don't have this intention now. I asked hypothetically for an case if it possible or not. But how i understood no. Ok, thank you)
