My husband has gotten his first *real* job now and in filling out the papers, there was a question which I *think* I know the answer, but was unsure....

How would you answer this? (our AOS is pending- he came on K1)

I attest, under penalty of perjury, that I am (check one of the following):

__ A citizen or national of the US

__ A Lawful Permanent Resident (Alien #) A___________

__ An alien authorized to work until _________________

(Alien # or Admission #)_____________________

What do you think? Thanks for any advice.......

Who?

If he has an EAD then he should fill in the "An alien authorized to work until" line and put down the expiry date of his EAD.

If he doesn't have an EAD none of the options apply to him, he can't work legally.
