Expediting the I-131 after a family death?

Hi all, 

 

We submitted my AOS package May 26th (I-485, I-765 & I-131). I may need to visit home in the UK soon as my step mother has terminal cancer & doesn't have long left. Can anyone tell me their experiences with applying to expedite the I-131 due to a family emergency? I have asked before over the phone with USCIS and they are very vague and not helpful. Do I need to supply proof of my step mothers condition? How long could it take if I choose to apply for expedition?

You're gonna get an info pass appointment to apply for a emergency AP. They are gonna ask for proof of her medical condition.

An appointment at your local field office.
