Hello. me and my wife(she's US citizen) currently filling out forms i-485,765,130,130a,864. It all seems easy but I'm really nervous about this no blank policy as there's not too much guidance beside don't leave it blank... there's plenty of questions that have (if any) like for example: information about prior marriages, and then there's like 15 fields with name address and so on. or representative part, interpreter. another 40? and every single field have to be N/A?.... i'm so lost and worried. I'm willing to pay if someone filed recently and can share an examples of filled forms(with deleted personal info ofc), any help would be really appreciated... :(

1. Never heard of a no blank policy. I left mine blank and had no problem. Others have written N/A and had no issues.

2. If you or you wife is filling the forms and understand English, then leave the translator, interpreter, representative parts blank.

3. If this is your first marriage,  then leave prior marriages blank or N/A, whichever suits you. If previously married, then they have to be filled and ultimately, a divorce certificate will have to be included with the petition.

4. Well, list addresses as applicable.

5. You can always come back to VJ and ask if you have more questions, don't be shy. That's what we are here for.

Feel free to PM me if you need further assistance too. Otherwise, post here too.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

I put in N/A everywhere I could and did not leave blanks.

I completed the forms digitally in Adobe Acrobat and was having a hard time putting N/A in some fields. This thread helped me figure out how to do it easily.
