Hello all, I had my interview at us embassy in Manila. The interview was very long and at the end they issued me 221g. I’m in the Philippines on a work visa. So I applied from here. They asked a lot of questions regarding my work and me Nd my wife’s relationship. I even told them and showed proof of our child together. At the end they said we need more wedding pictures, proof of domicile of petitioner, and also tax transcript 2019.

i had to do 3 different interviews even in special investigations unit. I’m not sure what’s going on 😭😭

Well you are not the typical Filipino Filer.  The major issues are that the petitioner isn't showing enough proof of domicile and keeping that proof current with an IRS transcript.  They are also probably wanting to see if that return was filed jointly or at least as married filing separately.  They are probably also looking to see if you had any commingled assets and evidence that you have ties to one another like healthcare power of attorney, wills, credit cards, joint accounts / memberships.

We interviewed in Mexico but had lots of proof that we had commingled assets and we physically were together.  It sounds like the petition was very weak and not front loaded.

Having a child is not proof of an ongoing relationship.

So domicile should not be an issue.  Proof of where she lives, updated drivers license, voter registration, car registration, lease, credit card and bank statements, and her paystubs.

She should get tax transcripts for 2017/2018.   If she can get one for 2019 that would be great otherwise a paper copy of 2019 with all attachments.

Provide proof of other commingling even from the Philippines.

Or some evidence of shared address.  Would both your ACR cards have the same address?  If so, provide copies of those.  Did you both have Phil Health?

Copies of your ACR cards (front and back) showing the same address, is excellent evidence you lived together.  Send expired ones too, if you have them to show a longer duration.

Good idea! Do u think I need to get my employment documents also since I’m here on a work visa or they will verify themselves? They didn’t ask any of that though.

All the consulate will care about is the visa and maybe seeing the ACR-I card.

Right.  Concentrate on evidence of time spent together in person  ACR cards with the same address are excellent for that.
