Reagan didn't have to hide being a populist, the neocons that went under him did hide the fact they were neocons. After the GWB administration and all that "diplomatic", "compassionate" "fiscal" conservative facade went into the toilet, the neocon jig was up. You won't find actual conservatives who've decided they miss what neocons have to offer (war, illegal immigration, big security state government, fake news), which is why the ones in the open went to Democrats. It's why you're cheering them.

When people are unhappy, they tend to try and make others unhappy as well. Pitching this "Trump's done", "Walls are closing in" stuff has been done since 2016. It's not my fault you're saying and doing the exact things the Frums, Rubins, Boots, and Kristols are. The difference is, they're making money off people's derangement, and you're along for the ride. How many books or t-shirts have you bought lately?
