07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Edit... I saw this locally in fact. I was comparing the finance contributions for a local state representative race and one of the largest out of state contributions ($1500) came from someone that was supposed unemployed. Why in the hell would you donate $1500 if you are unemployed?

Based on my anecdotal evidence, many of those who contribute to the democrats are using someone else's money to do so.

If Biden refuses to fess up to the earpiece, wonder if the Trump team at the debates can jam the wireless signal if they spot that earpiece again. 😃

 

We all know Biden cannot debate Trump on his own, he can't do anything on his own and needs help for everything he says, what a way to make it clear how useless and helpless he is.. an utter joke he's even running.

So why is Joe Biden's campaign putting a lid on campaigning as much as they are?  Is Joe doing debate prep, or is it something else?

I know the secret service could aim a signal at Biden that would cause him to scream in pain in his head, if they so chose.  Their optical jamming ability is pretty amazing, too.  Of course, they have never done it at a debate or large public gathering.  (yet)

Mayhap they are busy looking for active covid cases with whom Joe can visit and chat for a while?  He's only got a few more days to catch it.
