Ahh I think I'm getting it now. We have our forum's first Lincoln Project member. Tell all the rejected neocons I said hello.

You’re getting a hello next month LOL

Just because you read 5 million tweets from David Frum doesn't mean the population of neocons is remotely consequential. Are you more mad that Cruz lost or Jeb?

We still in 2016?  Like I said, I googled time travel and got squat.  Guess you got the same results

The same derangement hasn't changed after 4 years, too bad Google only tells you what you want to hear. It's why you think neocons matter in 2020. Neocons are Democrats now guy, and they're answering to their populist wing now too. Better learn to adapt.

Y’all talking to a third gen Texan here.  This isn’t “california”.  Add dislike for californians to shyster new yorker presidents and try letting one of those spit coat us for a second term.  You’ll get the same little speech

Reagan/Bush republicans dont like Trump.  rumpers spit-coated the people they need to help re-elect him.  There are more of them then there are rumpers.  The math is easy.  Our party doesn’t share values with yours.  He got a chance, that chance seems to make you people believe it was a mandate.  It wasn’t.  There is a whole parallel party working on rebuilding.

Reagan people are not automatically Bush people by a long shot. I am a Reagan man. Not so much a Bush(any of them) person. Without a doubt a Trump man

I dont care what you are as long as Trump does what he was told and doesn’t tarnish Reagan’s image by using it to campaign LOL

Their conservative values are so strong that if they can't have control of the supposed "conservative" party they join the one that is answering to its left wing populists' beck and call. Funny how quickly those principles vanish when they don't get their way. Probably why he thinks the premium Texans are CT born + Yale/Harvard educated guys like GWB. Just a difficulty coping.

#HughJassFamily 😂😂😂😂

Keep popping off.  You seem upset.  I’m just a plant worker, not a Harvard guy.  I think you smell truth in these posts.  The one thing that upsets a trumper, 100% every time, is truth.

I really miss the true Texans of Yale and Hollywood.

So why do you conflate neoconservatives with conservatives?

trumpers are neither

That would be true of me. I'm not really a conservative and I'm especially not a neoconservative.

However, you seem to be mistaken about the support for neocons from conservative voters. It took them a while but they realized the Bushes and co were frauds. Just like under Reagan, neocons that remain in the party are basically having to take cover, which is why you see the Lindsey Grahams, Ted Cruzes, Richard Burr's, and so on falling in line. The reality is, Reagan was a populist, like Trump, and from the entertainment industry, like Trump. He was a non-interventionist, like Trump. And he got smeared to absolute hell by the media and left.. like Trump. While there are some differences, he's far more like Trump than he was of the neocons.

I hope this doesn't make you too mad.

Nah I’m used to trumpers trying to imagine Trump into Reagan.  It doesnt make me mad, it makes me laugh.  “Like Trump, Reagan was a non-interventionist”.  ROFL

When our barracks were bombed in on Lebanon Reagan parked battleships offshore and shelled them.  He didnt give them a handjob like Trump gives to Putin every chance he gets after they put bounties on our troops.  For that matter Reagan went to Germany, addressed the USSR directly, and told them to tear down the Berlin wall.  Noriega selling drugs?  No problem.  Dropped on his palace roof, put him in chains, brought him here, and jailed him LOL.  Trump’s not qualified to be a brown stain on Reagan’s drawers 😂😂😂😂

I’m not mad.  I know what’s gonna happen.  You can throw labels all you want but the trump party’s closing.  Sorry.
