Hi! I tried it today and it worked perfectly fine. I have tried opening it on my PC because it was showing like “group doesn’t exist” while trying to open from my phone. I 1st downloaded the app (telegram) and then clicked the link and click on “join group”. After that in the telegram group they will send a welcome message and we just need to fill out the form and thats it.  Try it and I hope it will work

Hello everyone... I am hoping someone can help me. Is Kyle here? I don't have access to Telegram anymore and I can't ask the group for help.

My husband was scheduled for a CR1 visa interview on November 05. Now, I went on usatraveldocs to make an appointment for him for biometrics. And somehow, out immigrant visa appointment was also rescheduled!!!!!

I'm scared, I don't know what to do. I called usatraveldocs and now they're telling me that the interview is scheduled for October 20th. I am so so confused and I dont know who to ask for help. I can't call the embassy, they direct me back to usatraveldocs.

Does anyone know what to do here?

When is your biometrics appt? Did you log-in to CEAC to see what it says?

So on tweeter USConsulateMumbai is saying

"The United States Embassy in New Delhi and Consulate in Mumbai remain closed for routine immigrant visa services at this time and are providing only emergency and mission-critical visa services to spouses (IR-1/CR-1) and children (IR-2/CR-2) of U.S. citizens. (1/2)"

So i guess the idea is to give student visas and let them spread virus because they cannot study through web and have to be in america to study thats more important.

Good luck with that your file probably is at NVC only. Check on top right where your file is at :

https://ceac.state.gov/IV

Right now they are doing only priority cases from December and January also with limited staff. So dont know when they will start regular or have full staff, then they have elections, Christmas and all the holidays. Along with the bullshit of giving priority to H1 and students .

I am not expecting interview till next year summer.

That's useful information - thanks! Do you know if it's linear -- meaning, if they are doing Feb 20 DQs in November 20, then say would September 20 DQs only happen in June 21?

Yes, it could be earlier too,  if they speed up the process in Mumbai. Hope for the best. The closure of the embassy from March to august delayed the whole process,  otherwise 2-3 months was the wait after DQ.

Yes, here's to hoping! I am also wondering if the number of people who were able to submit documents and who got DQ'ed between March and August would be too many. Even getting documents like school, police and birth certificates during this time may have been difficult due to COVID restrictions and the complete lockdown in India and around the world?

True, I agree they are giving priority to citizens spouse. But have you validated this? I am concerned regarding this because when I called the Mumbai counsulate this week they said its only for emergency cases and after reading your msg want to be sure if you confirmed so, so that I dont get my hopes my up for nothing

Mission-critical immigrant visa categories include applicants who may be eligible for an exception under these presidential proclamations, such as: IR/CR1, IR/CR2, IR/IH-3, IR/IH-4, SQ, SI, certain medical professionals, and certain aliens providing temporary labor or services essential to the United States food supply chain, as well as cases involving an applicant who may age out of his or her visa category.
