Hey, I was looking at the consulate site and they are apparently now only doing emergency cases similar to the initial covid lockdown.  I assume we are all screwed now until India controls Covid which honestly at this rate seems impossible until next year.  They even authorized departure for their employees who aren't involved in emergency cases...

I am hopeful since cases have come down drastically in Mumbai and they seem to have things under control. I expect interviews to start in June

What documents does the embassy gives after visa stamped on the passport to give to officer upon entry into the US?

Is the medical document online now?

Nowadays they give only PASSPORT n u will receive a letter stating ur medical documents are updated electronically if ur VISA on PP has IV DOCS IN COD mentioned. Hope that helps you.

No i ply on IR1 Visa, airlines will check your marriage certificate or any other proof of marriage.

Once you reach us immigration agent will escort you to the other room for firture check on your passport and you have to wait till they are finished. i heard in normal cases they took more than an hour but due to covid they not many people with ir1 so it took us 15-20 mins and they asked me nothing they just checked from there end and after 15 min they stamp my passport with ir1 visa.

No question asked at us immigration.
