All,

Is there anyone in this group who has reached the "Schedule Consular Appointment" page which shows a calendar / dates of appointment availability? Am talking of first time IV visa interviewers only.

If anyone has seen it, please let us know what are the earliest dates available. The reason is if it is not in few days, we should leave Mumbai where we are stuck in Covid.

Yes I was able to make an appointment for interview after cancellation.

I think the earliest date available was April 27 until yesterday , then May 2nd. There are several dates available for the month of May.

Oh that is so wonderful. Thank you so much. So did you book it or waiting for Covid to cool down? I wish my hubby's system unlocking happen soon so he can login and book an appointment.

Anyone else want to share their system experience please?

It showed on my account. May be you can send them a message in feedback column on left side and then they will open up the appointments for you.

I booked 2-3 wks from now for COVID dust to settle down a bit.

Are you sure that you didn't book the VAC biometrics appointment? Doesn't make sense that there are that many dates in May and no one is able to book. For most everyone, it's been that if you're lucky there is maybe 1 or 2 appointments when you log in. Congrats if it was the consulate interview! But interesting that you are seeing so many dates.

They processed almost 1000 IR1/CR1 in March 2021 at Mumbai. That’s a good sign. They will probably try to clearly all backlog for now for CR1/IR1 and hold other Immigrant Categories for now.

I am surprised they managed to get any cleared, considering how bad it is in India currently.  Hopefully none of those interviews get cancelled again due to this recent outbreak.

After almost 2 years of waiting my wife has finally got her visa. I applied in mid July 2019, case moved to NVC in March 2020 and got interview in March 1 2021. During interview she got 221g for not having whatsapp chat/ call record, then she submitted all the paperwork at Mumbai NVC on March 23. They refused to take the passport on that day and they asked for it after everything was verified. Last week she deposited her passport at Chandigarh dropbox and on April 29th she got her visa. It was long painful journey for us.
