I called US consulate Mumbai and they said , we are closed on 13 and 14 April , rest we are open. Not sure about the Visa interviews.

I don't understand the question here. I'm a us citizen who is petitioning for his wife. Interview cancelled. So is almost every one in this group. Everyone here should either be a us citizen petitioning for spouse OR a spouse of a US citizen who has had a petition filed.

If you did not receive a cancellation email yet then you might be fine.  Although, someone else did say they received it and their interview date is the same as yours.  Also, as mo93 stated IR1/CR1 cases are exclusively for spouses of U.S. Citizens, you won't see anyone else in this topic.

Honestly man their customer service seems to not understand what is going on half the time.

Yea was thinking spouse of green card holder. Anyways I got the dreaded email. This is depressing. Hope they reschedule soon. Already completed biometrics and medical too..... wish they moved to another consulate or finished this month interviews atleast since many would have made plans...

Damn, not another delay! So sorry to hear this guys. I'm dreading the wait too, luckily my wife (US Citizen) is here with me in Chennai but I feel for those who are separated from family (especially during covid times) because of this slow, frustrating process.

Does anyone here know how long the PCC is valid for?  At this point I feel like my wife might need to renew it, which is another headache.
