Just got my visa approved (Ir1 Visa).

Make sure you care marriage pictures and post marriage pictures, they are giving 221 to some of the applicant.

No covid report needed as of now at us embassy.

Total process time 2.5 hours at us embassy.

I am happy to help by answering questions, if any! :)
Take care, All the best to everyone!

Hey congratulations on getting approved.

When did you get DQ?

What interview questions did you get?

Are there any tips on the types of documents to gather and anything you learned from your experience?

Hey what was your DQ and was it an expedited case or just a regular one?  The interview questions also seem a bit unique.  The question regarding when your wife migrated to the US and when she became a citizen seems a bit weird to me.  Unless her process of becoming a Citizen was not through normal means, it threw me off did not expect them to ask that.

DQ- 19 sept 2020 (regular case)

He asked me to show pics which i was not carrying.

Make sure you carry  you carry your marriage pic( they only see picture with lots of people, basically they want to see gathering at your weeding)

Before my interview there was 4-5 case of CR1 cases and i was listening to the questing CO was asking, he was only interested in weeding pics and post marriage pic like honeymoon pics.

And Yes he was giving 221g form to some cases.

My interview time was 8:15am and i reached there at 7:30 am and they let me in.

I advise you to reach there before 40-45 minute of your interview time otherwise you have to wait a lot Bocz there was only 3 Case Officers who were taking interviews and waiting area was full with people waitng to get interviewed.

Documents they asked for before interview.

DS260 confirmation Page

Appointment letter

Original Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate and PPC( if you lived in any other country for ore than one year make sure you carry PPC from that country)

E-Medical Report.

And after you gave him the document you have to wait again to get interviewed.

(DONT CARRY ANY COIN, DIGITAL WATCH, PHONE AT EMBASSY)
