Please update if you can book appointment.  Im also in the same boat.

If you guys go back a page or two people mentioned that there is a feedback option that allows you to request an appointment by telling them in the feedback when your interview is and where you want the biometric appointment.

Anyone from November CR1 receiving any interview letters?

keep a lookout it should be be between the 5th and 16th of April, I am guessing it will be by the end of next week, this is based on previous interview emails reported on this discussion.  I am hoping we receive them next week, I am kind of nervous due increase of covid cases in Maharashtra.  Don't want them to go back to a month long lockdown.

My DQ was sep 9. Haven't received interview yet. I emailed NVC. Got a generic reply regarding covid and that the case is at NVC and how they will let me know when my interview is scheduled.  I'm very concerned. Is there anything I can do. Is there anyone else still waiting for their interview from September.

I remember you mentioned it before as well, honestly it seems a bit strange as long as you are in the CR1 category you should have received something a while back.  I haven't noticed anyone else mentioning this for CR1 everyone I have completed their interview last month.  If NVC isn't giving you an answer then I don't think you can do much there other than wait.  I would try to call them multiple times to check maybe someone is more helpful than the individual you talked with.

Sorry this is sorta off topic. My hubby hasn’t seen anything bout new restrictions for us US spouses entering Mumbai, does anyone know if they’re making us US spouses quarantine when we come there? We were DQed in December so at the current schedule we should be getting interview in June🤞🏼. Like most of you, we’re so sick of these lockdowns and forced quarantines.

I am not certain about the current regulations but, if you are traveling from the U.S. to India in general you require a negative covid test and need to self-quarantine for a Week upon arrival.  I don't think they really care as long as you have the negative covid test though.  I am just hoping they don't go back into a pointless lockdown again, that would screw everyone over.

Just spoke with NVC after being on hold for 1.5hrs. The guy said there is no way someone with documentarily comple past my date would get an interview before me. My date is sep 9, 2020. Unless they have emergency visa approved, they will not interview people whose documents were complete after my date. He said Mumbai is only consulate in India to give spouse visa. And even before covid they were 4 to 5 months behind in interviews. And then they shut for 7 months. Now they have to clear the old back log and then all the visas they were processing during the closures. Basically he said, I should wait for email.

Very sad news. I have not idea how many more months I need to wait for the interview.

I recommend usually calling them late at night before they close, usually very low traffic.  Anyways, I am not sure then, I have looked at the timeline that I have attached below and most of the updates at the beginning of March were people in late September and early October.  Unless most of the people on this thread and the telegram group are lying, they received interview letters for October and September in the last 2 months.  You can always wait until the next batch of interviews go out in the next 2 weeks, and verify it then.  If my wife gets an interview email I will post the details here ASAP.
