Tried applying for biometric and saw "No appointments available at all cities in India". Now what?

Try to get in Mumbai one even if you have to stay there for few days. Call them

Anyone having trouble booking a VAC appointment? I'm getting"no appointments available"

Same thing here.

Wish someone who recently cleared the interview in Mumbai can help us know steps / experience of -

a) Booking BioMetrics

b) Medical / Vaccination experience at ReleClinic

c) Post interview how many days to get the passport back with

d) Can someone work in USA immediately after reaching or need to wait for GC printed and delivered.

Hi, I can share some of my experience don’t know if it would help, a) biometric u can book from the link given in ur IL n do carry IL Letter, passport original n copy, ds260 copy n 2 photo. b) rele u need about Rs 25000 max n carry IL,  original passport n copies etc, they give 4 vaccinations max n if u have a TB history they need that full treatment details important since during my appointment I saw cases being postponed for 2 months as they tell to do TB sputum culture (takes 2 months for result) if there are TB patches in x-ray n it’s one of the crucial assessments. Rest no issues the doctor staffs are well organised so u may complete in 2hrs. c) post interview u get ur visa in 5-7 days.d) I guess once u pay green card fee they take 3months to print n delivery not very sure on that process. Hope everything goes well to all🌈

Many thanks lobsang 521. Your help is appreciated.

a) Biometric - There is only this link in IL https://nvc.state.gov/prep. This has no info on BioMetric.

d) Thanks. There is a small difference between Cr1 and IR1. The IR1 visa is very similar to the CR1 visa with the primary difference being that an IR1 visa recipient will be given unconditional permanent resident status and be able to work immediately when they arrive in the U.S. (source https://www.marriagevisaservices.com/marriage-visas.html )

Hey congratulations, best of luck with your interview.  I was also checking that biometric site as well and it did not look like a official site to me.

Thank you. It is the site. But I can't get an appointment because it's all taken. Called the ustraveldocs/in they said to keep checking every 6hrs. That's all I can do at this point

Hey does anyone know a good site to find out about the PCC validity?  There was one needed to obtain a new passport and the second one was needed for nvc, which one do we need to provide at the interview?  Since the first one was issued in February 2020 (for passport) and the second one was issued in November 2020 (for NVC).  It would be great to know since it takes them a month to issue a PCC.
