Thank you for your reply. Oh wow. That’s a long wait. Is it Nov/Dec interview dates or DQ dates?

Does anyone from India with IR1/CR1 case know y an original Indian birth certificate would be rejected by NVC?

the reason they gave in the messages was- not correct issuing authority!

but mine is from the correct issuing authority according to NVC guidelines for India.

So to anyone who uploaded an Indian birth certificate on ceac website do u need to apostle the birth certificate before uploading it to NVC?

could that be a reason y NVC rejected the document, because mine was not apostled!

and I live outside India so with this covid border issues, gettin apostle is a hassle!

Hello,

DQ date is also May 18th. Currently they are rescheduling the cancelled interviews. I know 15-20 people who got reschedule dates. Some people went to the interview and got approved. Currently people from Jan 13 DQs got interview letters. They started rescheduling from Dec 10th or something.

How they process cases? According to DQ dates or Priority dates

since all other cases are paused till 31st December under proclamation. Can we expect any fast processing in IR1/IR2 CR1/CR2 cases

or just normal month by month, if January is getting processed in October, then with this pace May cases will be processed in February 2021

They are processing based on DQs. Currently they are processing pretty slow. Based on the current pace, we can expect Feb 2021. But, there is also a hope that they will start processing faster from the coming weeks and months. Then, it should be sooner. Hopefully soon.

Call them and ask them to take a look at your certificate again without resubmitting it. They did the same to me and then approved it within 48 hours.
