Dear All ,

My name is Kun , I'm a new memeber on this website and have some problem about Visa K-1 Processing

I sent my documents to my boyfriend - G-325A / passport copy / Photo for apply visa

And my boyfriend sent his documents and my documents and Money Order USD 170 to USCIS - Taxas on 02June'07 and until now 24June'07 we didn't get any information fromm USCIS - Taxas that they've got our documents

My boyfriend went to post office, where he sent the documents and money order and the post office staff check for my boyfriend and post office staff saids that no one take my boyfriend money order yet , that's mean USCIS didn't take the money yet .

The question is , is that anyway for me and my boyfriend can check that USCIS - Taxes get our documents ?? or somethings ? because I just think that if they didn't get it or it's wrong address then the documents need to reject and send back to my boyfriend address , so how can I know this ?

Or USCIS - Taxes word hard and so busy then they transfer our document to another USCIS branch ?? and work for us ? .. how long usually do it take to get answer from USCIS ??

Please advise that how can I do ? because I thought that I maybe need to start everythings again , send documents and wait

Thanks for your advance,

Kun

Good morning, Kun! Don't worry everything is fine. Check out my time line. Texas does not process fiancee visas anymore, eventhough we are required to mail them to the Texas office first, they will be transfered to and processed at the California office. Also, I've noticed that many people who filed recently (May, June) have had to wait almost a month before their check was cashed or they recieved their NOA1. Its too early to panic. Ask your fiancee id she has a tracking number for the K1 visa application that was mailed to Texas. If the postal system says is was delivered don't worry. If there is no way to track you package, but it was not retuned to her, don't worry. They got it.

Hope this helps!

The only way your boyfriend can check the status of the application is to have a case number. He can either look on the back of his cancelled check or wait for the NOA1 to come in the mail. Until either of those things happen you won't know anything. Patience is a major component in this process.

Hi Kun,

We posted our I 129-F to the Texas center back in late April and haven't heard back yet. We know that we are at least on the system as my fiance called up the customer service line (if your boyfriend wants to try that the number is 1-800 375 5283). Your boyfriend can then at least see if the documents have arrived with them and that your case is in the system.

Good luck.
