Visiting my wife in the Philippines

Don't forget to check on 14 day quarantine...if any...before you go. It will depend on your final destination.

As already mentioned, routine visa processing is currently suspended.  When the embassy does resume processing of B1/B2 applications, please note that your wife's chances of getting a visa will be very low.  It will be difficult for her to overcome the presumption of immigrant intent with a spouse visa petition already filed for her.

 

Still, if you don't mind losing $160 + travel cost, there will be no harm in applying even if she gets denied a visa.  Waiting time depends on the availability of interview slots at the embassy.  Two years ago, I got an interview slot within a month from my fee payment.
